This from Lynn

In case you may have missed it, this just in from Lynne;

Due to the large turnout expected for the Parent-Teacher Association’s Winter Feast this Friday evening (5:30–7:30 PM), the event will be held in the cafeteria of P.S. 178 (12-18 Ellwood Street, corner of Ellwood and Bogardus Place). Many thanks are due to Principal De De Budd and her staff for welcoming us back to their space.

Please see the volunteer sign-up sheets in the entrance of our building if you’d like to help with children’s activities. All parents must play an active role in supervising the children in order for the event to run smoothly. If you’d like to help with set-up or clean-up, please plan to arrive a little early or stay a little late.

We look forward to seeing you and your children on Friday night!

Best,
Lynne

looking for an evening nanny

Dear All,

I hope it is ok if I post this here, but I thought that you might understand the situation the best.
My parents are going back to Romania this holiday season which means that starting January it will be just me and Claire.
Claire will be going to the Y up to 5,30 every day but I need to find someone who will wait for her when the bus brings her home from the Y and will stay with her until I get home. My returning time is variable but somewhere between 6-8PM. Do you know of anyone who is available for evening babysitting?
If you have a recommendation or any ideas for my problem please email me at daitac@yahoo.com.

Thanks a lot!
